Heats up fast, great curls!
Love this hair tool, I have very thick long blonde hair and it creates a wonderful curl! One tip, don't burn your fingers (I have twice) and use a heat protecting mat to set it on as the tip will touch your counter and it take a long time for this to cool down.

Rips out hair
I have the regular length older version of those t3 curling iron and wanted to get an extra length for my longer hair. The clamp on this is much easier to open and close but my hair gets caught in it when I’m curling and it pulls out small clumps of hair! I was so upset and going back to my other smaller t3 iron that doesn’t tear my hair out.

favorite anniversary sale item!
I bought this for my daughter. I decided to just test it out before I give it to her. This lives up to its name ! A single pass that holds the curl strong. I don’t use any product, just a mist of heat protector. My test curls were bouncy and beautiful from morning to early evening. If I had set with hairspray they would have stayed until the next day. So impressed! I bought another right away because there were 1500 people looking at this T3 single pass 1.25” iron. I will give my daughter the new one once it arrives and she comes home from college to visit. This IS a time saver! My hair is midway down my back, single length with face framing. This iron changes up the whole look, whole head in 20 minutes just taking my time. The extra long barrel and extra long clip are excellent design elements to do more hair in less time. 5 stars from me.

my new fave curling tool
I was previously using the T3 1” barrel curling iron (the interchangeable one), and I tried the bio-ionic 1.25” one (hated that one -did not work at all!) , so I was skeptical about this but decided to try , and I love it! Love the feel of the tool itself and it leaves waves that last for me. FWIW I have medium length fine thin hair.

Unwieldy
Have been using this for about seven months. It works well, but the reasons for my low rating are:
-The barrel seems ridiculously long and makes this very unwieldy and heavy. As a result, I’ve dropped this and burned myself several times.
-The clamp is too tight. Never thought I’d say that about a curling iron, but I like to clamp it down on hair and pull through for a light wave. You really have to pull hard to get this to slide down a section of hair. Often you have to loosen your grip on the clamp to be able to do so.
Glad I got it during the anniversary sale. Already thinking about buying a different brand for something more user friendly.

Heavy. Causes hair loss.
I think a lot of the reviews are for an exchange of free product for a review. Purchased with my own money, I have very long hair and am experienced with curlers from high end to low end.
While long, this iron is very heavy. Hard to move it around to wrap the hair, and when you do, it gets caught where the clasp is. Lost a lot of hair through trying to pull my hair out. The curls don’t hold any longer than compared to my other lower end curlers.
It is pretty to look at. That is about it.
