Baby Slow Flow Bottles

I have a 13 month old and a 24day old newborn and I've used this bottle on both. When I had my fist my milk didn't come in fast enough and as much as I wanted to breast feed her I ended up doing both. I had bought just about every glass bottle and she would not latch to them or she would get so much air, it was so frustrating. Since we did not want to buy a plastic bottles we were running out of options, then I saw this bottle here at Norsdrom (read reviews on it) and it was the best bottle we could have purchased, it even helped my baby latch better to me because it has the shape of a breast. This bottle really reduces the air a baby takes during feedings and it's so light way my baby was able to hold it herself after 7 7months. I also have a 24 day old who had jaundice and we needed to feed her another way other then breast until my milk supply came in and again this bottle was a life saver. She too did not latch to other bottles (provided by hospital and grandma) so I purchased this bottle again and what do you know... She latched! This is the only bottle we will continue to ever use for both our kids. My 13 month old still drinks out of it (the fast flow). I recommend you trying it, if it doesn't work return it.

As a new mom, I was looking for bottles that were an easy transition for my baby. “These soft, squeezable bottles feature a silicone nipple that mimics breastfeeding and eases breast-to-bottle transitioning” caught my attention. However, after seeing a lactation consultant, this bottle wouldn’t be recommended for babies who have trouble latching as it doesn’t mimic a breast as stated. It’s an awkward shape where the nipple part sticks out and not a gradual shape. Until I switched to a bottle that was more similar to a breast nipple (brand called pigeon), the transition was so much better for both of us. I’m not happy with this product and will be returning them.
