'Cristie' Riding Boot

Like the previous reviewer, I have calves on the thinner side and w/ a 14.5 circumference thought these would fit. . . not so, much too large from the ankle through the calf. Beautiful boot and very comfy, just not for my legs.

The boots I received in the mail are slightly different then the picture. Mine have a zipper the goes up to the top of the boot. I have to return these because there is too much form to the calf part of the boot, which I can't fill out with my skinny calves. They are beautifully made and seem very comfortable.

I must have tried over two dozen or more pairs of boots looking for one that was tall, simply styled and with a full length zipper in dark brown that was very well made. This is the only pair that delivers on all counts! I highly recommend especially at the sale price. These are true to size, very comfotable, hit right under the knee, and have a full length zipper in the back that really makes it easy to slip on and off. It's nearly impossible to find boots that don't have HUGE calves these days. These fit my 14" calves very well with room left over to tuck in jeans. Sorry I missed out on the black ones or I would have got those too!

This boot was a very nice deep brown and the leather quality is very nice. The foot bed fit had a bit of a generous fit, meaning roomy. Not too often that I have to consider between an 11.5m and a 12m boot. Mostly I wear a size 12m. The sole of the boot was really excellently made; thick with a nice stacked wood heal, what one would find on a quality men’s shoe. (But nicely made for a women) The only reason that I had to return both boot sizes is because the shaft is a bit too tight towards the top of the boot. The top of the boot shaft does have an elastic piece, but it still does not allow for clearance around a larger calf. I am disappointed that the boots had to go back, just wish that it fit the upper part of my calf. One more thing - how unique a zipper in the back. Classy

I love these boots! They are classic, elegant and look expensive. The pair I was sent had a small defect in the leather covering the zipper...curled inward to rub on back of calf. Would be great with jeans/pants, I purchased to wear with dresses. I have thin calves so the shaft was a bit wide, probably perfect for normal size legs, looked nice over jeans. I considered keeping to wear only with jeans but need to have double duty boots due to budget. Would be 5 stars if not for defect.

Very nice riding type boot. The quality is great,, and the width is good. They look expensive. (they are a little expensive, but the quality is good)
