defective clamp
This curling iron was unusable due to a defective clamp. While the iron powered on and heated, the clamp did not hold hair all, making it impossible to curl. My hair continuously slipped out no matter how it was positioned.
A curling iron with a clamp should be able to secure hair, and this one failed at its most basic function. This appears to be a manufacturing defect.
As of yesterday, the product has been returned. I am waiting for a credit.

Not sure if ceramic is right for my fine, hard to hold curls hair
I only tried curling my hair once with this curling iron, but the curls didn’t last at all. The titanium wand I previously used worked better, but I find the wands a little dangerous and burned myself a few times. I’m doing the steps of using a texture spray before, curling tighter than I want the curls and lettering them cool. I’ll give it another try and see what happens. I’ll even do smaller sections as well. It’s a challenge!
