22-Inch Spinner Carry-On

I did some extensive research before purchasing this Monos carryon. I wanted something that was slightly larger than the very small hard case I own. I looked into the Away brand and considered it but the price difference, especially considering the Anniversary Sale price as well as the textured exterior were deterrents for me. The Monos bag is well-reviewed by outside travel sources and I am impressed with the extra bags included for odds and ends as well as the compression style divider. The lock is a nice bonus, in case it must be checked. Despite the mislabeling of the bag, it fulfills my requirements. I already had realized that it was incorrectly labeled. I actually did not want to purchase the hybrid as there seem to be conflicting reviews of its latch style performance. The wheels are so smooth and it glides easily. The telescopic handle works smoothly too. Arrived with a luggage tag. Mine also arrived in a special cotton storage bag, no damage. If I find it does not hold up well I will return to Nordstrom but from what I can see it looks like a better than average carryon bag.

I did a curbside pickup because I wouldn’t be home for the delivery. I’m glad I inspected my luggage before driving off to go home! The front had pink and yellow scuffs but the back had major scuffs. I went back in the store to the luggage department to see if they had others for me to swap out. The sales associate tried to clean it first with a brown paper towel (!!!!) and tells me that a Mr Clean sponge can “fix the issue”. Why would I want to buy a BRAND NEW luggage with scuffs ALREADY on it ? I asked if she could look the back for others in better condition and mentioned if there were some still in the box, I’d be very happy with that. She tells me that “oh these don’t come in boxes”. Right ….
