Best I’ve had.
I bought a Monos carry on in 2022 and have taken it to Italy, France, Utah, CA, my last cruise and I’m taking it to Spain next month. It’s held up great whereas the one I got my husband from another brand looks like crap. My kids carry ons also look like the wheels are going to fall off next flight. So I’m buying another one for my husband when we go to Spain. I’ll also get my kids their own for the end of the year when we go to Guatemala. I have the rose gold or whatever the color and it still looks very clean inspite of having been everywhere for the past two years. People who say they’re cheap is because they haven’t used it long enough to know they’re actually quite great. I would say I am tempted to buy the check in luggage but I don’t ever want to travel with check in luggage :) I’ve had Delta either trash my suitcase or flat out lose them :)
So for thme past two years it has been nothing but carry ons. I chose the regular carry on because not all airlines in Europe would take the bigger carry ons, having you check them in which is something I’m not willing to risk (having no underwear while traveling is a nightmare lol)

Small bag - it's more the size of an international carry on. Made of cheap plastic and does not look like it works hold up witb extemdice travel.

LAST MINUTE BUY
I have been deciding for months if I wanted an Away, Beis, Rimowa, Monos or July for weeks but finally gave in and bought this Monos at last minute since it was on sale and available right away. The luggage itself is very pretty, light weighted, fit most airlines regulations. However, the reasons I’m rating it a 4/5 because if you overpacked and compressed really tight, the handle won’t slide up all the way. (I had to open the luggage and kinda slide up and down several times before it works. I didn’t take anything out though, just had to do a little trick to get it to work). 2nd, I see some scratches on the luggage already from gliding it directly on the ground. 3rd, the luggage is HYBRID, so it’s a combination of aluminum corners and polycarbonate hard shell. You can see the difference clearer in person bc the polycarbonate looks bluish instead of silver. Hope this help!!

Used and broken!
First time we purchased they arrived in random boxes with no packing material and a missing dust bag. Called customer service and it was a complete waste of time. They told us to return to store, get a refund, and repurchase the same items. Second time they arrived in random boxes again and one wouldn’t close correctly. Moral of the story, don’t buy luggage from Nordstrom because they send you opened floor units that have been trashed. Can you imagine buying an iPad and it arrives loose in a random brown box? You’d have some questions! Unfortunately, Nordstrom didn’t have any answers and couldn’t even guarantee we wouldn’t get another junky floor model if we were to purchase again. As a result, we wasted our time/gas for a second time and returned the janky second set. I will never buy a piece of luggage from Nordstrom again.

This little carry on arrived packaged in a monos box , plus the carry on was in a dust bag, no scratches or scuffs. It arrived with a luggage tag and 3 bags for shoes or whatever you’d like to use them for. We love the no zipper option of the hybrid. Also this case is exactly as described.
