What it does: Lightweight yet durable, it's finished with a long-lasting enamel coating. The easy-to-clean colorful porcelain enamel coating is nonreactive and resistant to stains and flavors, making it ideal for everyday use.

Compatible heat sources: Ceramic, electric, gas, halogen and induction cook tops.

Includes: Kettle and lid.

more ivory or cream colored, not white

On the website the "white" kettle looks snow white, but in person it is a warm ivory or cream color rather than a tark white, which didn't go with all of the white woodwork in my kitchen. It's also larger than I had imagined due to the high arch of the handle. Darn!
