This special edition of the 1460 is from the brand's Made in England Vintage collection, styles that are handcrafted using Quilon leather and original construction techniques by cobblers in their Wollaston factory. Quilon leather is traditionally crafted and features a contrasting base color to provide a two-tone finish. Heat-sealed and topstitched Goodyear welting ensures long-lasting wear.

The real deal
These are the real original Doc Martens that I remember from the 80's. The sizing is pretty true. Price from Nordstrom was the best I have found at the time.
Like the old ones, they need to break in.

Great, but sizing is an issue
Great looking shoes, appear to be quality made. Only thing though is that these run smaller than others, so beware if you are buying online. Go and support a brick and mortar store.

Blokes this is the real deal.
Took me 3 attempts to find the correct size. Some say made in England run small, Some say they run large and still some say true to size. Let me tell you- the “made in England” version of Docs runs small. I’m a 9 US and got a 10 EU and they are perfect. Quality is great. Toe box is smaller than the china made. So they look MUCH better and are more authentic. More like mine for the early 1990’s. Oi Oi Oi.
