Corporate Grantmaking
Through our corporate grantmaking, we're supporting the nonprofits and families in communities where we do business.

By 2025, our goals are to:
Invest more than $50 million in communities where we operate.
Develop and implement program-wide impact reporting.
Increase grantee perceptions of program transparency.
Apply for a Nordstrom Grant
Grants are determined on an annual basis. Organizations may submit a request for consideration September 1 through November 1 for the following fiscal year. Nordstrom will communicate funding decisions to all organizations no later than February 28.
Any organization that believes it meets our eligibility requirements can submit a request for programmatic support or event sponsorship.
Please note that Nordstrom will not fund organizations with a written policy of discrimination against any person or group based on sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other basis.
Nordstrom's contribution to a nonprofit organization implies no further commitment unless specifically stated at the time of initial funding. We welcome your questions or inquiries—please direct these to Giving@Nordstrom.com.
Gift Cards That Give
Our grantmaking is driven by our Gift Cards That Give program, through which we donate 1% of all our Gift Card sales, including amounts added to existing Gift Cards, to qualified nonprofit organizations in the communities we serve.
Our annual donation is based on Gift Card sales, including those sold at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom.com, Nordstromrack.com, HauteLook.com and authorized retailers, from February 1 through January 31 of the following year. These funds also support our Employee Charitable Match and Volunteer Program.
