Nordstrom does not market for direct sale to customers in regions outside the United States and Canada, including the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and the United Kingdom (UK). Purchases made through our Websites or Apps that ship to locations outside the United States (including to Canada) are processed by Borderfree or ESW, not Nordstrom. Any personal information associated with those orders will be received by Nordstrom on behalf of Borderfree or ESW. Nordstrom may access personal information controlled by Borderfree or ESW to fulfill orders. If you have questions about Borderfree's privacy practices, please contact Borderfree (borderfree.com). Gift Card Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to the purchase and use of physical and digital Nordstrom gift cards (collectively, "gift cards"). Your purchase and use of the gift cards constitute your agreement to follow and be bound by these Terms. Gift cards are issued by Nordstrom, Inc.
Redemption & Use
Gift cards are redeemable at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores, at Nordstrom.com and Nordstromrack.com, on the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack apps, and at Nordstrom Locals. Gift cards may not be returned or applied as payment on any account. Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash excepts required by law. Gift cards may not be applied as payment on any account and cannot be resold, exchanged or transferred for value, or returned for cash refund (except as required by law). Gift cards are not accepted for international orders placed with Borderfree or ESW.
Returns
If a gift card is used to place an order and items from that order are returned, generally, refunds are credited back to that original gift card.
Balance Inquiry
To verify the remaining balance, call 1.877.283.4045, inquire at any store register or check online. Note that any gift card funds authorized and locked for an order pending shipment will not be visible during these balance checks. It is important to keep your gift card in case of cancellations. Generally, refunds will be credited to your original form of payment, including gift cards and Nordstrom Notes with a $0 balance.
Expiration & Fees
Gift cards do not expire, and there are no fees associated with them.
Lost, Damaged or Stolen Cards & Fraud
Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced. Nordstrom will not be responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or if your gift card is used without your permission. Title to and risk of loss for gift cards pass to the purchaser upon sale. Please treat your gift card like cash and safeguard it accordingly. Nordstrom and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse to accept gift cards that Nordstrom suspects or believes were obtained fraudulently. Any possession or removal of a gift card outside the retail location where such card is offered prior to proper activation (without authorization from us) constitutes possession of an unauthorized access device which violates applicable law, is against the terms and conditions of this card, and may result in us (i) voiding or cancelling the card, (ii) invalidating all transactions, and (iii) retaining all funds associated with the card.
Compliance with Laws
By purchasing or using a gift card, you are certifying and representing to Nordstrom that the activities in connection with which the gift card will be used will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and that the gift card will not be used in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair or otherwise harmful to consumers or Nordstrom. In addition, you agree to defend and indemnify Nordstrom, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates from and against any claims, expenses or liabilities made against or incurred by any of them in connection with your use of the gift card or violation of any of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
GIFT CARDS ARE PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' BASIS, AND NORDSTROM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NORDSTROM AND ITS AFFILIATES DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT YOUR GIFT CARD WILL ALWAYS BE ACCESSIBLE OR ACCEPTED. NORDSTROM AND ITS AFFILIATES AND ITS VENDORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT LOSS, DAMAGE (WHETHER ACTUAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR OTHERWISE), INJURY, CLAIM OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND OR CHARACTER WHATSOEVER BASED UPON OR RESULTING FROM THE GIFT CARDS OR USE OF SUCH GIFT CARDS. IN THE EVENT THAT NORDSTROM OR ITS AFFILIATES ARE FOUND LIABLE TO YOU, YOUR SOLE REMEDY WILL BE TO RECOVER ACTUAL AND DIRECT DAMAGES WHICH SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LAST BALANCE HELD ON YOUR GIFT CARD. CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE FOREGOING PARAGRAPH MAY NOT APPLY TO CONSUMERS WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY OR IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Dispute Resolution & Applicable Law
Any dispute or claim relating in any way to gift cards will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution terms in the Nordstrom Terms and Conditions.
THIS SECTION LIMITS CERTAIN RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO MAINTAIN A COURT ACTION, THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL, THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY FORM OF CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE CLAIM, THE RIGHT TO ENGAGE IN DISCOVERY EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN AAA OR JAMS RULES AND THE RIGHT TO CERTAIN REMEDIES AND FORMS OF RELIEF. OTHER RIGHTS THAT YOU OR NORDSTROM WOULD HAVE IN COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION.
Applicable Law
The law applicable to the interpretation and construction of these Terms shall be the Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal laws, and the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, but subject to the Federal Arbitration Act and other federal law relating to the arbitrability of claims. You agree that all matters relating to the gift cards or use of the gift cards, including all disputes, will be governed by the laws of the United States and by the laws of the State of Washington.
General Terms
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms at any time and will provide notice of such changes if or as required by law. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition. You are not authorized to use this website to obtain any card information unless you are the legal cardholder under THE NORDSTROM / NORDSTROM RACK GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Any use of bots, crawlers, scripts or other automated means to check card balances, access data or collect content is prohibited (unless expressly authorized by us).

Purchasing & Sending Gift Cards
You can purchase both physical and digital gift cards online at our Nordstrom gift card site. Physical gift cards can also be purchased at any Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack store.
No, there aren't any fees.
For physical gift cards, standard shipping in the U.S. is free. If you'd like your gift card to arrive sooner, expedited shipping is $10.
Your credit card or other payment method will be charged at the time of purchase.

Gift Card Delivery & Redemption
Physical gift cards are sent inside a gift card holder. The recipient's name, sender's name, a message and the gift card amount are printed inside the holder. Gift cards shipped using free standard shipping will usually arrive within 4–7 business days. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.
Our digital gift cards can be emailed to the recipient within minutes of your purchase or scheduled for delivery on a specific date you choose. The email sent to the recipient includes a link to receive the card online. When the recipient opens the link, the card design you selected will be displayed along with the recipient's name, your personalized message, the card number, amount and instructions on how to redeem.
You'll receive two emails: one confirming delivery and another notifying you that the card has been viewed. If the card is not viewed, you'll receive an email with options for resolving the issue. You may also contact customer service (1.844.639.8924) with the order number you received in your order confirmation email, and we can tell you if the recipient has viewed the card.
Once your order is placed, an authorization (pending charge) for the gift card/Nordstrom Note-related purchase amount will be applied to your gift card(s) and/or Nordstrom Note(s). This authorization will remain on your gift card(s) and Nordstrom Note(s) until the items ship, at which time the funds will be redeemed. While the authorization is applied to your gift card(s) and Nordstrom Note(s), the authorized funds will neither be visible to you nor available for use on any other purchase. If your order is canceled for any reason, the authorization will be removed, and the funds will once again become available to use on the original gift card(s) and/or Nordstrom Note(s).
It is important to keep your gift card, as the funds will become available on the original gift card(s) in case of cancellations.
Gift card and Nordstrom Note funds will be redeemed for the cost of each item as it ships. You may see multiple gift card redemptions if you have an order that contains multiple items that are shipped at different times. After all shipments are complete, any remaining funds will be visible when you check your balance.
No—be sure to keep your gift card in case of refunds. Generally, refunds will be credited to your original form of payment, including gift cards with a $0 balance.
Gift Card Security
All order information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing current technology for consumer protection. Behind the scenes, your web browser is sending all order information over SSL, and the purchase process meets Payment Card Industry data security standards. You should treat your gift card like cash. If you lose your physical gift card or the link to your digital gift card, immediately contact customer service at 1.844.639.8924.
