Details & care
From holiday feasts to weeknight suppers, the precision blade of this knife ensures you carve perfect slices every time.
How it's made: The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The SIGMAFORGE knife is forged from a single piece of special-formula high-carbon no-stain stainless steel. The ice-hardened FRIODUR blade starts sharper, stays sharper longer and has superior resilience.
Additional feature: The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of 280 years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue.
Sizing information: 0.8 lb.; 16.5" x 2.75" x 1.5"; 8" blade.

Worth the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight, agile and comfortable to work with. The curve should have a more upward curve...the finish on the tip is not that durable.

Great knife for my small hands.
I have small hands and this knife is the perfect size for me. It is fairly lightweight, very well balanced, and fits very comfortably in my hand. The edge is very sharp and is easy to maintain it’s sharpness with sharpening and use of a steel.

Best slicing knife you will ever own
Best general slicing knife I have ever owned. It just slides through meats and vegetables (for example lemons) with very little effort. It combined with my 8" Chef's knife are about all I ever use any more.
