Looks nice but that’s where the pros end
Very difficult to use. Controls are insensitive to the touch and requires repeated touches. Temperature is also locked to Fahrenheit which is absurd. Why is this product sold in regions that use Celsius, which is most of the world?

Attractive Design, yet Quality Concerns
The water container's glass body cracked around the handle when I gently inserted the lid after cleaning. Regular descaling proves essential as mineral build-up forms directly above the heating element after a few days, despite our extensive water filtration system. Ultimately, we like the look and function of the kettle and have decided to replace it with the same model.

Temperature Measurement
Product is good and well designed but very disappointed a product being sold and distributed in Canada is not able to measure and display temperatures in Celcius.

great once figured out
I am very happy with this tea maker. It was a challenge to figure out how to use the timer. The contact center for zwilling was no help and suggested returning this item to Nordstrom. On line videos were helpful. Glad I did not return it. It makes great tea and warms up quickly to desired temp. Wonderful product once figured out.

Glass Breaks Easily
Bought the Zwelling Glass Electric Kettle about 8 months ago. The first one didn't work properly and had to be returned. We like the way if works and looks but the kettle gets a lot of scale on the bottom and needs to be cleaned often; at times it looks like rust. During the last cleaning the glass kettle shattered so it's no good to use now. The glass is thin, didn't hold up well. Very surprised at how easy it was to break... will probably go back to a stainless steel kettle as they Zwelling replace the kettle for us.
