Beautiful But Runs Big
It took me a long time to warm up to this shirt. Initially, I didn't like the dark navy/white stripes on the collar and cuffs. I didn't think it looked good with the print on the shirt. The "problem" was that I loved the beautiful orange and the pineapples! There IS a tiny bit of navy in the shirt, so the stripes don't look as out-of-place as I thought. Also, I find I can button the top button and hide the stripes completely, if I want. It's a beautiful shirt. Quite frankly, I couldn't resist it! I think they call the background "red." I guess it's a "Chinese Red." It's actually more orange than red. It's a beautiful orange! I love it! Beware of one thing: I first ordered a medium, size 12. Usually, this fits fine. But this shirt was a MILE too big! I had to exchange it for the smaller size 10. Even the size 10 is plenty big. If it shrinks, that's okay. If it doesn't shrink, that's fine, too.
