Zion Cargo Pants

I wanted to love these pants. The fit is perfect, for reference I'm 5'2 and 150lbs, but the material is extremely poor quality. After 1 wear & wash, the pants have pilling around the pockets and crotch area and random places on the legs along with loose threads in multiple places. I spent a long time researching the best quality hiking pants that I wanted to invest in and chose Prana because of their reputation. Truly disappointed in the quality.

I’m 5’4, about 117 lb, and these were very large on me. I wanted baggy, but they still look a size too large, the hips are too loose. I got a size 0 29, the smallest. I think I will keep them anyway, and just embrace the extra room. It’s not the material I expected either, it’s softer. But, all that being said, the adjustable waistband is AMAZING, and I love how big the pockets are. The colors are nice too. I’d totally recommend these pants, just to taller friends. I’d rate 5 stars if there were smaller sizes.

I have 3 pairs of these pants - they are very comfortable and easy care. My only complaint is why even bother with the fake belt loops? In pictures they look like they should accommodate a real belt, but they are each stitched down about half way to 2/3 of the way from the top of the loop. Why??? There is only room for possibly a rope to go through the top portion, and nothing to go through the lower portion. I like the webbing straps/tabs that can snug up the back of the pants, but they are long and flop around. I try to tuck them in but they come out with any movement. You know what would keep that from happening? Being able to wear a belt!
