Light, but one length doesn't fit all guys.
Light fabric makes these training pants easy to wear. However, I deducted 1 star because the length is on the short side for men, best for those under 6 ft. tall. They were too short in length for my 6'3" son in law (but my 5'7" daughter may borrow!) Another pair will fit my 5'9" young adult son well. Also there is only 1 zip pocket in back, the side pockets are open so that keys etc. can jostle out of them on a trail run.
