Fit and feel exactly as I'd hoped. Amazing buy
Got the last pair in my size during the sale and wish I could buy more right now. These leggings have given me hope that quality does exist in the middle-range price point of the maternity realm. I'm 21 weeks with my first baby and I have been able to get by with non maternity wear for the most part up until a few weeks ago. I've been shopping all over town and on the internet to find cute, comfy, quality maternity basics within the price point I'm used to shopping for quality non maternity clothing and so far my experience hasn't been pleasant... Until now. These leggings... Gosh, finally a piece of maternity clothing that matches its price in quality! These babies glide right on while still providing enough compression in the legs to feel good against my water retaining calves and ankles. The belly band is perfect; covering the whole bump, staying up. Nice smooth fabric, super flattering and yes, squat proof (all signs of great leggings). They're like butter on my legs honestly. They look and feel amazing on, I really can't say enough good things about them! For reference I'm 5' 3" & 135 lbs pre-pregnancy, 145 lbs currently at 21 weeks, 39.5" hips with a substantial baby bump and my pre pregnancy size S fit great. Could have gone with a medium had they been in stock and had I wanted them more roomy, but I prefer them form fitting. I'm not squeezing into them by any means, but they hug the curves nicely. A perfect middle ground for a pregnant woman who doesn't mind an extra bit of confidence boost as she continues to grow out of all the clothes she felt her best in not so long ago. They hit right at my ankle but there is a tiny bit of leftover fabric to work with in either direction (I just bring it up and distribute it evenly over my thighs and crotch area. Doesn't look bunchy or weird, but you could leave the fabric in the calf area if you like that look. This pertains to ladies 5'4" and under I'd say). These are less of an active legging and more of an everyday legging but they certainly are flexible and comfy enough they could be used for workouts. I just prefer a nylon, polyester, spandex blend if I'm gonna be sweating. I can't wait to pair these with a long sweater or tunic. Have I raved enough? To the newly pregnant moms-to-be who are discouraged by the state of the current maternity market, give these a go! If you pick your correct size I can't imagine anyone not loving them. And they'll be great post partum so you'll get plenty of use out of them... All the more reason I need several more pair!
