Luxe Wide Leg Pants

These were the hits of a lot of NAS 2024 coverage and I thought they would work great for me--I work from home and travel a lot for work. An easy pant that can take me from WFH to errands out to airline travel sounded great. And I run cold so the thicker material was also a plus. However, they are really too thick for most things and that makes them drag more than drape. The material feels cozy and soft, but also like it will pill easily and look terrible. I always have worn a small in Zella bottoms; reviews made me think I should try small and medium in these. At 5'6 and 135 lbs the small was the right size but still had a weird fit for me--big in the waist and puffy around my stomach. The thickness and the pleats made it just too much material under the waistband. The comfort made them tempting to keep but I think they would be relegated to ratty lounge pants soon and I wasnt looking for that.

Super soft but they show ever bump of cellulite on your behind. Also run a little long

These pants are very soft and can be versatile to wear for different occasions which is nice. However Nordstrom again is incorrectly listing fabric specifications. These are made of modal and not cotton which is one of the reasons I wanted these. Please fix the description!

I love these and had the matching hoodie, and it was a cute look, and the fabric is comfy, but after wearing once and washing once the fabric has already started to pill. I hate that I have to return it for the poor quality of the fabric.

For the price point, I'm pleasantly shocked at the quality. These honestly could pass for trousers, they have incredible detailing and the fabric is soooo good. Too long so will likely need to have them hemmed, but otherwise perfect.

I bought these pants after seeing them recommended as good for travel. After wearing them for travel, I would not travel in them again. The legs are very wide, and when you use the bathroom if you don't hike up the legs before you sit down, the legs puddle all over the floor. Not an ideal situation, especially in some public restrooms. Also, while on my trip, I saw that the inside leg seam on one leg was not sewn correctly, and there was a 3 inch gap. Luckily in was near my knee, but still, I expect better quality from Nordstroms.
