Live In Rib Midi Dress

Very flattering dress. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it looks on. I normally wear XL, I ordered size L and it’s still not tight around the stomach and hips. The length is not too short. The fabric is not super thin. I’m going to buy another color. The only down fall is there are no pockets.

I really wanted to love this, as there is another dress from a different athlesiure brand for twice as much that I was eyeing. Unfortunately for me, the back bunched up awkwardly. I have a big butt and smaller waist, and this fabric just didn’t lay correctly in the back. I loved the thicker feel of the fabric and the cut of the arms/ shoulder, but even going down and up in size didn’t resolve the extra fabric bunching up on my back.

I liked last years dress better. Way more flattering with pockets. I am an athletic size medium with a bit of lower stomach. I am 40+ with 2 kids - need I say more?! I purchased a medium and it is snug around the low waist. Just not flattering at all on me. I am 5' 6.5" and it is a litter longer than on the model. Kind of unflattering in length for me, because my legs are one of my better features. I can't size up, because it would be too big up top. Worth a try, but if you carry a little weight around the middle, you may not like it. On a positive note, the quality is really great on this item.

Based on some reviewers, I ordered a size small -- which is the size I order sometimes, depending on the style of the dress. Given that this dress is described as "a curve-hugging silhouette...", I planned to order a size medium. The size small fit me, hugging every curve more than I'd like -- unlike the models whose dresses were not so fitted. I disagree with some reviewers' comments that the dress runs large. I exchanged for a size medium, which is more comfortable for me. I like the style (although wish the neckline wasn't so high), the weight of the fabric, the stretch, and that it can be dressed up or down (I wore it with pumps one night). Being about 5'1", the dress is longer on me than as shown on the models. Wish it came in other darker colors.
