Live In High Waist Leggings

The leggings I received during the anniversary sale are not the same as the normal Live In Leggings. They even have a specific tag. These ones: -Do not have the "X" on the back waistband -Are not squat proof. The material is thick, and downright baggy around my hips, but when stretched turns see through. -Are made of a material that more closely resembles a cheap cotton. Not at all buttery soft. -Are tight on my legs and too big around my waist/hips. Mostly because the fabric isn't really stretchy. -Have the tag number NR348968MI which a Google search shows corresponds to the lesser quality Nordstrom rack $20 zella leggings. At first I thought I'd received the wrong thing altogether, but customer service confirmed it's just the "new" style.

I just purchased (3) of the Zella Live-In Leggings - (2) in black and (1) in Navy. I already owned a few pairs, and the pairs I own have the "X" stitched into the back above the butt. I ordered this style because the images showed the same "X" stitching. I got the three pairs of pants, and only one of the have the "X" stitching. I don't get it - they are ALL the same style, brand, etc. Even if that "X" stitch style were specific to color, you'd expect to see the same style on both black leggings - not just one. I'll keep them because I needed the leggings, but this is poor form Nordstrom. I'm a long time customer and I expect consistency and quality from this company. This is really bad business practice. Only post images of what you sell, and whether a customer buys 2-100+ of the same x-item, they should ALL be uniform.

I only bought this particular color because I thought Zella finally went back to its original Live In style. The original has a stitched X on the back and the brand logo says Zella (which is what the photos show on the website). So I happily purchased. What arrived was the legging without the X and with a circular Zella logo. This “new” style of Live In is definitely subpar to the original. I feel duped. Please use the correct photos when selling products.

I’ve had these for almost a year now and I cannot day enough good things! I live in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, and I mostly do outdoor activities in these. I rock climb, hike 14’ers, scramble over ridges, run trails, and more in these and I they never fail. They’re never too hot, they truly do swick sweat away. And NEVER ride down, 12 mile hikes and I don’t have to pull them up once. They’re better than my Lululemon Wunder Under leggings, and they constantly go on sale so you can get them for a great deal. Personally I sized down to an XS, I’m 5’3” and 120 lb and usually wear a small

I was so excited to try these as a Lulu Lemon alternative since the reviews recommended them. After washing them before wearing it, I was so distraught to find them significantly covered in lint. They also fit a little too snug. I’m 5”4 around 115 lbs, so I ordered an XS, and they are uncomfortably tight. I will be returning them tomorrow and purchasing my Lulu Lemons.

These leggings are a little compressing and are not see through. The material is comfortable. Overall I think they are a lot like other leggings you can get for a better price.
