material is very disappointing
I ordered this shirt in a blue and black and loved them. Very wrinkle free straight out of the washer. I ordered the same shirt in white and grey and the material was totally different. The white was completely see thru and the grey wasn’t the same material.

Perfect fit for me
I actually bought five of these, one at a time, after I tried the first tee and found that it fit me perfectly and was extremely flattering (for an older fit woman in her sixties, 5'7" and 140 lbs). I will wear them to the gym and also at home for the ultimate in comfort. I love the easy fit and color(s). Not all of Zella tops look good on me, but particular top makes me feel slim and pretty.

Best for sticks
Shirt is nice and body and would cover squishy middle bits if the fabric were a bit less ethereal. I’m a 34DDD 5’2” 150 lbs and ordered in both medium and large to try. The large was huge, with the neckline drooping to expose virtually all of my bra. The medium was the right size - boobs didn’t get exposed when I bent over to test. Back shirttail covered my tail but again was too clingy. The picture shows what looks like a high low hem but the front basically slopes to the back rather than having a vent.
I was hopeful for this shirt but it is a shirt best built in my opinion for a straight, non curvy figure.

Great top
The Ava tee is my new favorite. I purchased my usual size medium and could have also worn the small (5’8” and weight 130). I like that it is oversized and perfect for my training sessions at the gym. The only thing I don’t care for are the plastic sizing labels that Zella uses in their tops.

MUST-HAVE wardrobe staples
Zella's basic t-shirts, both long and short sleeve, are high quality classic pieces for your wardrobe. PLEASE don't change your high standards once others find your products. I never pay $45 for a basic t-shirt, but with Zella I do. They wash great, wear as if they've never been worn or washed, and have great saturated colors. I got the deep teal color and it's lovely. I am a standard size 12 w/ 40D bust and the large fits perfectly, slightly generous but not schlumpy in the arms, shoulders, etc.

Best work out Tee or hot summer T- not tight
perfect t-shirt. Not the tight in the middle kind. Fits like the photo!! Super cool too if you like cloths that don't stick to you when you sweat. Have it in all the colors!!
