pretty, but disappointing
I was so excited about these colors that I went and paid full price for Honey’s Nude. While the color itself is beautiful, it’s much more shimmery than it appears online and gets all over everything and dries out my lips. Several hours later I have dry lips, stain around my mouth, no lipstick on and nothing to show for it but a coffee mug, scarf, and papers in my office that have all somehow managed to get lipstick on them.

This lipstick is a pretty coral-brown and works very well with my medium fair skin tone. It’s stays on and does not dry out my lips. I’m a flight attendant and the air on airplanes is very dry. This keeps my lips moist, glides on smoothly and has great staying power.

I purchased Honey’s Nude expecting something purple-y nude for fall - but the color is actually coral toned. I don’t hate it, but it looks nothing like the photos. Because of this, I can’t give it 5 stars. But the lipstick itself is great - smooth and long wearing.

I got Arlenes Nude and Wolf's Red. Wolf's Red is incredible. I am a medium-tan skin tone (fairish skinned black person) and it popped nicely. I think this shade could work for erebody. Arlenes nude, even tho the same satin finish, felt a little drier, but really i just wasn't crazy about the color on me - falls just a tad flat (esp on Zoom). I'm also not a nude lip connoiseur (sp?) so i sent that one back. Interested in scout's red and honey's nude now.
