What it is: A dual-ended precision brow pencil with a spoolie on one end that helps shape, shade and define your brows for a beautifully natural look.
What it does: This velvety-smooth formula is enriched with coconut oil, which allows the pencil to glide on effortlessly. The precision tool redefines your line while your brows are tamed with the spoolie brush.
How to use: Follow the natural curve of your brow and draw your eyebrow, moving in the opposite direction of your brow hair. Brush in the same direction as your brow hair. For best results, choose a shade slightly lighter than your hair color.

Perfect
I like a natural brow - nothing graphic. I don't like visible eyebrow product lines, personally. I spent so much time looking for an eyebrow pencil that wasn't too warm/red, wasn't too cool, etc. I finally landed on this pencil in 04 Ash which I think is a universal color. I have light skin with pretty dark brows (dark brunette, I'd say) that have some bleached ends from the sun. I use this pencil to fill in sparse areas and it evens my brows out without the pencil lines being detectable. The color is buildable, and because you can sharpen the end, you can really be precise about where you apply it which is also great. If I over-do on one brow, I simply comb through it with the brush end to even out the color. I will say - when I got this, the pencil was HARD. I was worried because it didn't deposit much color on the back of my hand. But it warmed up quickly and I find it deposits just the right amount of pigment on the brown. HIghly recommended!

where is the sharpener?
I've used this eyebrow pencil for years. The shade matches perfectly, its hard enough to stay put and doesn't smear. After trying numerous brands, I have found that pencils made in Germany are worth the expense. Because there is no sharpener included with the pencil, I've had to try several brands in order to find a sharpener that works with the pencil. Why does a brand sell a pencil, that is not inexpensive, and not include a pencil sharpener? What is the customer supposed to do? For this reason, I have given it 3 stars.

Absolutely the best
I have been using it for about 15 years and I think it is the best one in the market because I try another kind every once in a while and always go back. I use number 4 ASH which is grey and grey is hard to find. I have light brown hair and for long time I had blond highlights. Ash (grey) colour looks so much more natural than brown pencils which you can easily see that person has pencil. Grey you can't tell that easy, at least not this one and that is why I really recommend.

Perfect for Ash Blondes
For all the ash blondes like me out there~ The YSL 04 Ash is perfect for our color of eyebrows, I love it. Trust me, I have tried every eyebrow pencil, etc., out there and when they say 'for blondes' it almost always turns out orange or a weird color of light brown. YSL's color is spot on and perfect, you'll love it. In person, it's not as grey as the photo suggests, but a perfect cool blond color that blends super well.

I have grey hair and it is very hard to get an eyebrow pencil that looks natural. This fits the bill and looks very natural for the grey hair.

Best eyebrow pencil
I've tried all brands including Armani, Shiseido, Suqquu, Anastasia, etc.
This pencil isn't waxy at all but still stays on all day on very oily skin, applies smoothly and is cool in tone.
