This bike seat is really wonderful. It was extremely easy to install. It feels really secure when installed, and comfortable for baby. It has a really wonderful adjuster system that allows for your child to grow and still be secure and comfortable. The feet straps AND the magnetic buckles are especially easy. We purchased a second base, and think this is a great strategy to not be tied to one bicycle if you and your partner have a different size bike! The one constructive feedback is it can be a little bouncy for baby down hill because of its attachment. Acceleration and upwards baby is very stable.

Poor Design, Doesn't Fit Most Bikes
We bought the Yepp Nexxt Maxi a couple of months ago so my wife and daughter could join me on my runs. We were under the impression this seat was decently universal and would work on most bikes. Wrong. I don't know if its the style of bikes we have in North America versus Sweden, but we are on our 3rd bike trying to make this work. I have bought and sold my wifes previous 2 bikes trying to get one that works for this carrier. For various reasons, they never fit properly. The bike we have now had a proper frame type that fit it on there, and we go to use it and the frame angle is somehow wrong and the seat rubs the back tire constantly when loaded with a child. I rigged up an adjustment for the angle to make it "better" and it mostly works now, but even on the maximum length setting, my wifes small feet keep hitting her heels on the lower plastic portion on its maximum length. I don't understand how this is supposed to fit any mountain bike we have here as none of it makes sense and has been a huge sense of disappointment and frustration. Very disappointed in this supposedly high end product.

Hello Mark,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear the Thule Yepp Nexxt Maxi did not fit on your chosen bikes.
Thule bike seats are not universal, as they require certain frame dimensions and wheel clearance for safe use. You can find this information in the user instructions, or in the FAQ article "How do I know if a Yepp or RideAlong child bike seat will fit my bike?"

Easy installation and good product
After using the bike seat for a month, the seat is comfortable for up to 90 minute rides. My toddler is happy and excited to ride in the seat! The straps do slide off my child’s shoulder. I wish this product came with an extra strap feature to connect instead of having to buy as an accessory. Overall, I love the seat and would recommend!

Great Features!
Things I like about it: Size, Weight, Reputation of Company, Well-Reviewed By Customers, and Accommodates larger weight range so can be used longer as child grows. It’s kind of wobbly though - not sure if it’s this design or all child bike seats in general.

Great product
I’ve been buying Thule products for years and have come to expect great things from them. These seats live up to my expectations of Thule. I bought two seats, one frame mount and one rack mount. We carry a 3 year old (30 lb) and one year old (20 lb) with total confidence. Easy to adjust quickly for different size children and they are always secure and comfortable. I highly recommended this seat for carrying any child below the weight limit.

Works well, but my toddler is uncomfortable
I like it, on rides it works for a while then my toddler starts getting cranky. My wife discovered his back had red marks on it from the backing. I’m wondering if anyone found some type of softer padding to put on the back part?
Side note: mine was missing some parts, customer service was great in getting it to me.
