Y Iced Eau de Toilette Intense

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried a lot of fresh fragrances over the years, and this is honestly one of the easiest to wear while still getting noticed. Yves Saint Laurent YSL Y Elixir Ice has that really clean, crisp "just stepped out of a luxury hotel" vibe, but with enough depth to keep it from smelling generic. It just feels nice, clean, and refreshing! Right off the opening, it's very fresh and cooling with a smooth citrus hit, but what surprised me most was how refined it smells once it settles on skin. There's a subtle sweetness mixed with a cool aromatic feel that makes it feel modern and expensive without being overpowering. It's the kind of scent that works equally well for daily wear, going out, the gym, or even dressed up at night. It really is quite versatile! Performance was also better than I expected for a fresher scent. I could still catch it on myself hours later, and I got multiple compliments in the 1st week of wearing it. The projection is noticeable without filling a room, which makes it really versatile and easy to wear year-round. The bottle itself also looks incredibly clean & premium in person. Overall, this really does feel like an extremely polished and mass-appealing fragrance that still has personality. It is definitely one of my fav fresh releases from YSL in quite a long time! Highly recommend!!

Upon first application it strikes you as a very fresh and maritime sent, but fades to a much lighter and more pleasant scent. Not overly powdery on the nose, this feels like a very good spring time scent. The atomizer works very well for fine, even distribution and prevents over application. Sillage is low to moderate, and last approximately 4–6 hours. Overall would recommend for spring/Summer daytime scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this cologne to strike a great balance between being bold and unique, while also being versatile enough for everyday wear. First, this cologne does have a very pleasing cold sensation when applied directly to the skin. The first scent I noticed is an intense blend of sweetness and spice, without being too sweet for a masculine scent profile. As the scent developed, the more spiced notes settled in. While I myself didn’t notice it on myself after a few hours, I did notice a few people telling me that I smelled nice. I noticed that they all said that, not “what are you wearing” to me this is a sign that the cologne mixed with my natural scent instead of just sitting on top of it. Some of the commenters were not super close, which hinted at good projection. I could actually see this cologne being a good everyday wear for both warm and cold weather, it’s already became one of my top scents for when I’m not sure what to wear!
