What it is: An icy-mint fragrance that starts your day with a spray of powerful Y energy infused with confidence and adrenaline.
Fragrance story: This long-lasting fragrance combines extreme intensity with the freshness of an Eau de Toilette. At first spray, it reveals a vibrant aromatic power of a refreshing and striking mint. On top, a Fresh Iced Mint is lifted by a Cooling Arcticle of extreme intensity that leaves a clean and icy sensation on skin. At the heart, the rock 'n' roll dual accord of Living Mint and Blue Sage enhances the chilled and aromatic facet. At last, the long-lasting trail is anchored in the woody notes with Ambroxan and Patchouli essence. The iconic Y bottle is magnified by the glacial blue fragrance inside, while the iconic Y slashes through the glass.

I didnt like it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one was a complete miss for me. Fragrance is obviously personal, but to my nose this smelled harsh, stale, and honestly reminded me of a few days of built-up body odor more than a cologne. It never developed into anything cleaner or more balanced on the dry down, and the scent stayed unpleasant the entire time I wore it. Easily one of my least favorite fragrances I’ve tried and not something I’d want to wear again.

VERY mint forward
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cologne itself is quite strong and lasts a while which is good in its own right. The scent is very mint/icey pine smell with not much else going on and it can be overwhelming at times personally. If you love mint smelling products you will absolutely love this one.

Versatile warm weather scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good dumb reach perfume for spring and summer with good performance but you may go nose blind quickly. It’s just different enough from others in the line with that slight mint note, but I prefer the eau fraiche version.

The Flanker That Actually Did Something Different
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The “Iced” version of YSL’s Y line does something most flankers don’t: it actually earns the name. There’s a genuine coolness to it, almost mentholated, that sets it apart from the original Y and pretty much everything else in this price range. It’s not a gimmick. Beyond that, it’s fresh, clean, and easy to reach for. The kind of fragrance you spray on without overthinking it. For warm weather it makes total sense, the icy quality does real work when it’s hot out.

Refreshing and cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cologne has an aqua family sweet scent with a very cool feel from the mint, but without making you smell like a walking breath mint. It's versatile in that I'd wear it to the office or out with friends, but I'd reserve it for warmer months. The atomizer is improved from previous offerings from YSL for a better coverage. This one keeps you smelling fresh for a good portion of a day. Would pick this one again.
