XT-Whisper Red Ashes Sneaker (Men)

The first time you put these shoes on, they feel like they've already been broken in. There's a lightness and flexibility to them that is only matched by a super worn in pair of new balances. The mix of breathable material and suede is a great design, and it allows for these to be great summer shoes, while also having reinforced material in all the important places. I love the more swirly, wavy design on these shoes, and the fact that these shoes don't look as synthetic as the other more Gore-Tex heavy shoes in Solomon's catalogue. I think the suede and the more natural look goes with a much wider range of clothes The quick lacing system on these is also really great. the X-ALP feature traditional shoe laces, which are fine, but the XT-Whisper feature the Solomon quick-tighten laces that are easy to tighten and untighten, and work surprisingly well. Sizing: I usually wear a 10.5-11, and in these shoes I was able to size down to a 10. It doesn't leave the most amount of room at the toe, but for me, I prefer to have my toes almost touch the end vs having a big gap in the front.
