Not as expected
Yes, this lipstick is moisturising but it is basically a thick black lip gloss and in no way will stay on for 12 hours. And if you eat with it, it will transfer everywhere and fade off your lips. I strongly suggest MAC changes this description. I regret buying this and wish I went for the retro matt version which probably has more staying power.

No filter zero other makeup still fab
The photo shows one coverage swipe on each lip. The model on the site likely has 2-3 applications to create highly saturated lips. I didn’t do a liner or any primer. So it think it’s pretty great for a straight out of the bottle application. Can’t wait to wear it for a variety of reasons. Texture is smooth and has a black purplish tint. My hubs eleven liked it. My teen plans to wear for cosplay.
