x Marimekko Mansikkavuoret Print Canvas Bucket Bag

I loved the print and wanted to support the artisan look and feel; but once I received had to return. The shape of the bag is not what it looks like on the image and the interior is so basic that you begin to ask: what am I paying for this with bag? It’s pricey for how it looks, feels and lacks in functional design. Vivid colors and cool concept with print, but just not worth price.

I had been eyeing this bag since it was released, and finally caved and ordered it. I am a longtime Merimekko fan! When I received this bag in the mail, I was actually surprised by how big it is: I guess the microbag trend has me expecting tiny-tiny. I realized that to approximate the shape of the bag as-pictured, I had to tie the leather ties tight-ish, but not an insurmountable issue by any means. The print is vivid and cute, and the canvas feels durable. The leather is a nice accent. Overall, think that the price of the bag was fair, and any discount makes it a good value buy!
