I love Maui… The scent

I love Brooklyn Candle Studio but I HATE this scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh boy this scent was disappointing. I have a Hawaii Rain candle from Brooklyn. Candle Studio which is a scent I wholeheartedly reccomend. It is incredible and perfectly tropical without being overly cloying or gourmond.
This scent, Maui, however smelled like corporate cleaning fluid. It was harsh, sour and not nice. I could tell what it was going for, so I don't think there was something wrong with the scent. But everything was mismatched and sour and chemical smelling.
