Wool Sweater Blazer

This is a substantial knit blazer that’s well made and the cut is fabulous … sigh … I’m 5’4 and 145. The Medium is huge - fits most like a size 10 or 12. I’m an 8, mostly. I’m afraid a Small might be just that — too small. The sizing issues these days drive me nuts … the nearest higher end stores, like Nordstrom, are hundreds of miles away. Now I can understand why us “country folk” wear more Walmart than anything else. May just wear it as “oversized” but do wish THAT trend would go away.

The quality and tailoring is 5 stars for this reasonably priced blazer. The knit is heavy, but doesn’t feel too hot. The fit gets 3 stars from me, only because the medium is pretty large, and the sleeves are really too long. I’ve kept it, because it’s hard to find a perfect fit buying online (I live in nowheresville with lots of Walmarts). I got the matching wool sweater pants, too, and the medium size is an honest medium size, thankfully (I wear mostly size 8’s and large 6’s).
