Wool & Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater

I ordered this sweater online following the size guide but was able to try it on in-store today. Ladies, it is huge. I went down a full size and it was still generously oversized to the point of being boxy and frumpy. I am 5’5 and the sweater was mid-thigh on me. It hit much lower than shown online. I thought about dropping down another size but decided it just wasn’t cut for me. The cashmere is a nice weight and the color is yummy. Funny enough tonight I received notice that they had canceled my online order and, for once, I wasn’t disappointed. It did reinforce my “CostCo rules” approach to Anniversary sale. If you see it in-store ,still love it and it fits, buy it. You can return the duplicate IF your order goes through. Only way to assure that you get the piece. In this case, it saved me from receiving an item that didn’t live up to expectations.

It is the deep lyxurious brown. It is very soft and warm. It is thicker for the cooler niggts. It is so cozy... like a barefoor dresms blanket but natural very soft wool fibers I bought the small and I am 5 7 and I typucally ryb from 145-170. If I wanted it looser I might hace sized up to medium. I just love it! My only regret.. is I cant scroll back to fix typos without having to start over, and injury makes it harder for me to text...sorry.

I'm 5'6", 135 lbs / size 6 normally. Bought the brown in size small. If you like a little oversized that's what it is. Hangs nicely all around, long enough where it's not boxy. Great with leggings, jeans, etc. Thick wool (I prefer natural fibers) so it'll be warm. Thinking about another color.

I ordered this Nordstrom wool and cashmere turtleneck sweater in brown coffee, blue Dawn, and beige beach. I had high hopes because online the style looks elevated and something I could wear with leggings and boots. The wool and cashmere blend is very soft, however, the turtleneck opening is quite small. even though it has a slit on the part you fold down it has nothing to do with how tight it is putting it over your head. I ordered a small and medium. They both fit my frame with the medium being more relaxed. Nordstrom brand does run a bit large for me. The problem is if you have a curvy figure as I do, it is not flattering at all. I do not want to look slightly pregnant at 67 years old. let’s face it, at any age! I think the problem for me is the length. If you have a straight slender figure, it will probably look good on you. I guess I need a shorter length as I have in other sweaters that do look good on me. The beige beach is not a very nice color. It looks much lighter online. It’s almost a dirty looking color. The brown coffee is gorgeous. It’s a very rich dark brown. I really wish this one would’ve worked for me. also, the blue Dawn is also pretty. For reference I am 5‘6“ and 164 pounds.

I normally wear a medium or possibly a large in sweaters as l like the oversized look being curvy up top (36D) and 150 lbs. This is a gorgeous deep brown sweater that is very lush looking, the only problem is it’s big all over, especially the length, which covers my rear ! It’s very lovely and would look good belted maybe or tucked in various ways with slim pants. I immediately bought the blue color way in a size small and medium to try on at home. The blue is a beautiful light blue and will look amazing with navy. Love the fact l can return things easily at Nordstrom. Try it and see.

I am normally an xs in tops 5’5”, 128 lbs. I bought this yummy sweater in my usual xs and also in a small based on an influencer review. I do not normally size up but on this one I did. The other reviewers are correct, it is long. I think having longer sleeves and a looser fit is what I’m most excited about with this sweater. The brown is gorgeous.
