Wool & Cashmere Knit Hoodie

This sweater was recommended by several bloggers. I needed something like it in my wardrobe. I was hoping for a classic, layering sweater. I wore it one time only to find out it pills unlike any sweater I have ever owned. (Then the pills have pills) And when I say I wore it one time..let me clarify...I mean it was RIDICULOUS looking after just a few short hours and I had to change. I have a pill shaver. I used that to try to salvage this beast since it is an expensive sweater. It helped minimally but I will never pull for this knowing how it looks have a few hours of wear. It borderline unwearable. I am annoyed I paid this price for this garment. It is the worst purchase I have made in a long time. Save yourself and pass on this one.

The red color is beautiful and a favorite of mine, and the fabric is very soft. Unfortunately, the raglan sleeve made my broad shoulders look even larger. The sweater also has a boxy fit -probably best for those with a small bust. Tag states dry clean only. Made in China, but unfortunately that's where nearly all cashmere sweaters are made.

The red is a great color and I was really looking forward to receiving this. I like the ribbed texture and it is nice and soft. But....Such a disappointment to try it on and see how boxy and oversized it is. A little boxy is fine...my body is a little boxy! But this is just sloppy looking. Back it goes.

I normally wear a L but ordered an M based on a blogger's recommendation that it runs a little large. I'm a size 12 and the M fit perfectly. The red leans toward pink (although it is not pink at all) rather than orange. It's comfy and warm. Medium weight. This is a good basic. My only complaint is the dropped shoulder. I am kind of over that look and would prefer a raglan sleeve (like a baseball tee). I'm keeping it and may order gray and black (tan is not my color). Sale price is good.
