Wooden Chef's Kitchen Playset

My 2-year-old seems to like this kitchen, particularly all the doors and "cabinets" for moving items around. It took quite some time to put together, but the instructions were well made. Personally, I found it to be extremely pink in person but have adjusted to it (sort of). Also, I have tried to talk to customer service a couple times about spare parts, and that is effortful. They said they'd send new knobs; I received ONE. One knob.

So disappointing! This is not a typical Melissa and Doug product. Many of the pieces are very cheap and not made well. Many of the pieces did not fit. Finally my husband and I gave up after many many hours. Unfortunately as excited as we were to have this for our granddaughter it is going back. Perhaps Melissa and Doug need some better quality control.

We ordered this for our daughter for Christmas and in less than a month it's damaged. She tripped and her elbow hit the oven door and it cracked. Didn't think hhh that the materials would be so fragile. She loves playing with it, but I hate that it already looks worn in. It's right where the door handle is and with further use the handle will fall off.

I purchased this kitchen for my 4 year old daughter and we are long time Mellisa and Doug fans. Still are. Only problem.. assembly. Piece D was missing some of the holes the screws go through . So we have been unable to assemble. I'm praying that once we get that remedied , there are no more problem or potentially missing pieces .

My daughter loves the kitchen however we have had it for less than a year and every time she opens any of the doors they fall off. I have contacted about replacing parts and have received no response. We have given up putting the doors back on especially for the fridge. Also the wood is very soft and the smallest knock adds a dent or chip. Love Melissa and Doug products and this kitchen is very disappointing.
