Slip-On Chelsea Boot

I tried on about 12 simimlar leather Chelsea boots, and these stood out right away. The footbed is far more comfortable than the rest- expert cushiony support I want to go to every day. The sole looks good and adds attractive height to my frame while still offering function, I feel like I can keep my mind on my work while looking good in this shoe. My only gripe is that the leather upper hits right at the ankle bone, which bothers me. I prefer a Chelsea boot to graze the ankle above the bone both to compliment cropped pants styles but especially to not irritate my ankle bone. The leather is soft and won't physically irritate the skin, it's more of mental-physical problem for me, like wearing bangs below the brow. :-) I definitely recommend trying them out!

I was excited to receive these after waiting for a month for them to come back into stock. Reviews and description appeared solid. However, when they came in the mail and I put them on, the insoles were practically nonexistent. I would not describe these boots as “cloud” or “memory foam” or even comfortable. They are rock hard when placed on the feet, and certainly not worth $200. These are going back. Style seems cute enough, but I don’t want to pay that kind of money for “style”.
