Disappointing
Positives first - the coat is beautifully tailored. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positive. The shoulders and arms are cut narrow, moreso than keeping in proportion with the body. Also, the wool fabric, though looks great, is extremely scratchy. Since the coat is unlined it would be uncomfortable to wear or to handle. The texture of the fabric would also make it difficult to get on and off over a sweater. It's going back.

The sizing does not make sense.
Sizing indicates that size 2 US = 40 IT, but 4 US is 38 IT? Tt seems that US or Italian size is converted backwards, they both should increase. Nordstrom, which one is it?

Gorgeous Coat
This is a beautiful coat. I bought the purple - a very vibrant shade - in size 00 and it fit me perfectly. For reference, I’m 5’2” and 93 lbs. It’s chic, but also versatile and can be dressed up or down. Think it will be great for Pacific Northwest weather. Worth the price!

sizing information is inaccurate
the website has us size 4 listed as Italian 38 but a us size 4 should be Italian 40. Even the video is inaccurate: she says she's wearing a size us2/it40.

Beyond
I bought this in a size IT42 (US6), and it’s true to size. I’m 5’5 and 135lbs, slim build. The tailoring is beyond, the quality is beyond, the color is beyond. Such a fun coat, so glad I snagged it on a whim! Once I tried it on, there was no way I could put it back.
