Palermo Zip Jewelry Case

I wanted to love this so much because of the stylish look and size. I thought it would be perfect for at home and for on the go. BUT. Sadly when you have jewelry in it, it doesn’t close without crushing them. I tried so many different ways but the rings will cut into the mirror and bracelets get crushed on the other side too.

I wanted to love this case, but despite being well made, the design is flawed and I will be returning because it’s simply not functional. Neither my rings nor my earrings fit where they are intended to go, and that completely defeats the purpose of this jewelry case imo. I tried putting my rings on the detachable ring bar - rings were too big and it wouldn’t close. (My rings are pretty standard engagement style rings). I tried to put my rings in the middle compartment - rings were too big, were going to scratch the mirror, and it wouldn’t close. The only option is to dump my rings in the open compartments, which I don’t want to do. My earrings can fit on the earring bar, but again it won’t close properly and I’m afraid the posts will get warped or bent if I tried to force it close. So basically the only usable sections are the open compartments, necklace section, and using the middle section for earrings instead of rings. Other than that, this case is pretty much useless.

I bought Pewter and love this travel jewelry box. It has just enough room for what I'd need it for when traveling. The leather is a gorgeous metallic and the lining is beautiful. This is an amazing gift to give, as well. I also have the Caroline Quilted case and that is just flatter for a smaller suitcase, but both work nicely.
