'Ab'Solution Skyrise Barely Bootcut Jeans

I've bought jeans before that have had a chemical-y smell. I assume this is from being wrapped in plastic and then shipped from wherever they were made to my local store. Typically I will soak them in vinegar or baking soda for about 15 minutes and the smell is gone. With these jeans, I have tried everything and the smell is so overpowering I cannot even wear them. I've washed them multiple times. I've soaked them overnight in vinegar and baking sod both together and separately. I hung them up outside overnight. Nothing has gotten rid of this smell.
