Disappointed with the silk fabric

I was really disappointed in the silk fabric. The photos make the fabric look like rich luxurious silk, with a shiny silky sheen. It is not. The silk is thin and almost has the appearance of washed silk. I do like the modern style of the top, but the price point due to the fabric is kind of a head scratcher.
