I have many Nest New York candles. I burn one everyday. This candle may be my new favorite. If you like the scent of chai you’ll LOVE this candle.

What it is: A limited-edition exquisitely fragranced candle meticulously crafted with a proprietary premium wax formulated so the candle burns evenly and cleanly, infusing any room with exceptional scent.
Fragrance story: Curl up with the comforting aroma of festive spices on a cold winter's night with Winter Chai. Notes of cardamom milk, spiced cinnamon and a hint of toasted almond envelop the senses with a warm embrace.

How to use: Trim the wick to 1/4–inch each time before burning. Center and straighten the wick after blowing out your candle. Burn in a well-ventilated room and keep the wax pool clear of wax trimmings, matches and debris. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, fans or air currents. Before relighting, let the candle cool completely. Burn regular-sized candles for 3–4 hours at a time.

Nice aroma, wick off center, turned jar black!
Winter Chai is a lovely fragrant candle, although it doesn’t really smell like chai. About 1/3 of the way into burning, it left a section of the jar black, and started to smoke! (I meticulously trim the wick of all candles that I burn.) The wick is off-center, and I have tried to move it towards the center, but it will not stay centered.
If this had been intended for a gift, I would have sent it back immediately; but, the aroma reminds me of horchata, so I held onto it. IMO, the aroma is nicer than the Nest Vanilla & Crystallized Ginger candle from a couple years ago.
I don’t know if Nordstrom will replace my candle, but I am upset that it has smoked and blackened a section of the jar.
