Wild Rebel Barrel Shorts

Even though I hardly look as the model does, I thought these shorts were cute enough to purchase a pair in my usual size. They ended up too small. I bought the next size up. They were the exact same dimensions as the first, smaller sized pair. In other words, they seemed to have an incorrect size attached to them. I bought another pair in the larger size. The second pair was the same as the first. The third pair, however, was, in fact, a larger size, and I love them and will keep them. The outlaw taupe color is actually a mix of a green/beige with mottled blue/green splotches on it. I'm sure someone loves that look, but I was not that person.

I found them true to size - I got my usual 8 and they fit perfectly. The color though……. Outlaw taupe is heinous. It looks IMO like baby poop. I’m hoping the darker brown comes back in stock because yikes!!!

Love them but not true to size. I went by the advice of Nordstrom associate. She says she normally wears 0 & shows her wearing 4. I normally wear a 1 if baggy I normally size down. I should have went with my normal. Because ordered size 4. Way to big. Needed size 0

I bought these shorts online so I missed the blue spots on the shorts. The clerk said it was a pattern but I didn’t see any pattern at all. These shorts looked as if someone poured blue detergent on them and let it dry. They were way too tight and looked nothing like the picture in the ad. For $128.00 I was embarrassed to even return them.

I went with the advice of the Nordstrom video. The stylist said she was a 0 and she sized up to a 4. I typically wear an 8 sometimes a 10 if brands run small so I ended up ordering a 10. I should have gotten the 8. The 10, while it did fit was very loose and billowy and with the fabric content, I’m sure they will stretch out. Looking again at the photos if you are wanting a low slung look like the still photos I would maybe size up one size. If you want them to fit at your waist, because these are high waisted with a button fly, then I would order your regular size. These are a very roomy short, a lot of fabric and pretty billowy so keep that in mind if you are a larger size. If you are in that 0, 2, 4 range, they probably won’t look quite as billowy. Size 8 isn’t available anymore, but I’m unsure if I will even re-order given the price point.

These are shown to come almost to the knees but they hit me mid thigh. Super cute, just not what I was expecting.
