What Inheritance 47mm Rectangular Reading Glasses

Having never worn glasses before, and realizing that I might need some readers, there were two things that drew me to these particular specs: 1. I’m a huge gem nerd and these looked like watermelon tourmaline to me, and 2. I think my ears might be uneven so the lack of frames on the top portion had the potential to give the illusion of symmetrical earrage. I was right. They’re nice quality, they feel sturdy yet lightweight. I take them everywhere with me. I am a fan.

I have a pair of eyebobs Peckerhead that fit great; love the double-springed hinges and the bold, blingy colours of the frame (cobalt and yellow) and they were not bent at all; perfectly straight. and thought I would try these smaller frames to keep in my car for anytime I forget my readers. Well, inside the case which was a bit too small for the glasses, one of the arms became curved over time. This is a common and major problem with off-brand eyeglasses. I normally invest in Gucci or some other designer frames because they never have misshapen frames, but the cost for multiple pairs of glasses is just too much. I have purchased several pairs of off-brand eyeglasses and all of them had at least one arm bent because they are almost always shoved into a case that is too small. Why can't people measure the glasses and the cases to find the right fit? I don't understand the widespread incompetence when venturing away from designer frames. If you can bother with ordering several pair just to find one that might not be bent, these would be super cute. I think I got lucky the one time when I ordered Peckerhead because the case is the right size; maybe I'm not sure because I ordered two pairs of Peckerhead in different colours and the purple with clear arms was very bent in the case but the cobalt was straight. I give up on off-brands!
