Perfect layering piece for spring/fall
I love this shacket. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It is warm, but not too thick. You can layer other long sleeves shirts underneath without overheating. Perfect for fall or spring. I wear a small or sometimes a medium in other brands, but almost always an XS in Free People and this is no exception. The photo of the model is a very accurate representation of how this looks on.

ZERO QUALITY IN FREE PEOPLE NOW
Zero quality!!!!!! I have 5 of the Ruby Jackets the quality is in them BUT NOW to buy a 100.00 plus Ruby Jacket nope no quality don’t buy them they cheapen then up now and still same price the brand is crap now

not like the original
I just got the date night color and I was so happy it was on sale. It’s not like the original Ruby. It’s much thinner, smaller arm/wrists, and not nearly as soft. Will be returning

Different from We the Free Ruby
This particular jacket is about two inches shorter and the wrist holes are smaller than what I was expecting from the oversized “we the Free Ruby” I purchased a few months ago. Also feels more light weight. A bit disappointed since they LOOK identical, will be returning.

Shacket? More like a wackit
I don’t understand all the great reviews on this shacket, it is not flattering at all! My husband called this is a wacket because it looks wack on me, and I cracked up! Most of the material is around the arm of the sleeve and around the bottom body of the shirt so it bells out. You can see from the pictures, it’s just not flattering, even if I got a smaller size, due to where most of the fabric is when they made it. And the color is beige really, not cream, just meh. For reference, I’m 5’10” and roughly 150lbs., and I ordered a large. Love the length and the side slit pockets, the fabric is nice too. But the fit, it’s definitely wack! It’s weird because I wouldn’t say these wackets ‘run large’, they are large because they have so much extra fabric hanging on the arms and lower body in weird places so you appear larger!

So thin, not the real FP Ruby Jacket
Ordered three of these because I have an obsession with the ruby jacket and it’s a great price but these are a different version and are sooo thin. Returned all 3 unfortunately.
