Better Than GuideWear!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with Marmot jackets so I was hoping that this jacket would be a good choice and comparable to my years old Cabela’s Guidewear rain jacket that had seen its last days and went the way of the dinosaur. When I received the jacket and took it out of the packaging I was immediately impressed with how soft it was compared to the stiff jacket that I loved. But, would it perform as well?? It didn’t take long before I put it to the test on a very windy and rainy day and I was very impressed by the jacket’s performance. It performed as well as the Guidewear and much more comfortable to wear! It also seems to keep me warmer too. Time will tell on this jacket’s durability but so far so great!

I wanted to like this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These raglan sleeves are for somebody with no shoulders. I wouldn’t know who could possibly wear this. Backpackers and everyday wearers do not like these sleeves in coats. I never liked raglan sleeve t-shirts either as they look cheap. I only chose this because the Precip jacket no longer has a breast pocket. I have had Marmot for decades and now I have to go somewhere else. No worries as there are plenty of choices in raincoats with other competitors. Stop cheapening your rain coats. People pay for features, not sacrifices or half steps. I want proper structured sleeves, pit zips, standard low pockets, 2 breast pockets, not just 1, and a stowable hood. Navy color. Very disappointed in Marmot leadership. Bye bye.

great jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic jacket. It's well-made yet lightweight, making it easy to carry when traveling. The design is simple, so it can be used for both casual and semi-formal occasions. My size is between M and L, but I bought a size M in this jacket. The size feels a little larger than a regular M. It fits snugly with a sweatshirt underneath. Since it's a rain jacket, this size is perfect.

Perfect for all outdoor summer activities
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has a very durable yet lightweight material. Very good at repelling water and wind. This would be an excellent packing/camping/hiking jacket as it is waterproof and also very lightweight and breathable. This jacket was also very easy to clean, the material makes it super easy to wipe down but also throw in the wash and hang dry. I also thought the fit was very flattering and I would buy again in another color, although I do really love this mustard yellow.

Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So durable! The material is thick and waterproof. Especially it has a hood, suitable to wear in winter. Worth to buy it! The only thing is you need to pick a bigger size than your actual size because it’s not really fit. Easy to be fold and put in the backpack.

Best quality rain jacket somebody could ask for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful jacket that does a good job keeping the rain off of you, as well as keeping you pretty warm. It’s a good, strong material, feels heavy duty, but not in a bulky way, just good quality. It’s got nice, deep pockets and is easily adjustable with underarm slots and a nice zipper. The hood is the best hood I’ve ever had in a rain jacket because it actually blocks the rain without blocking eyesight. It
hangs far enough over my head to keep me dry without affecting my vision. I would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a good quality rain jacket.

Well made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color of this jacket! It kept me warm and dry as I went hiking in the springtime and I like how it doesn’t feel to heavy. Definitely well constructed.
