Wonderful fit and fabric
I tried this dress on in the store today and was very impressed with the fit and fabric, especially for the price. I wear a 6 in most clothes, but an 8 in most cocktail or evening dresses. This dress fit me perfectly. I am 5’5”, 137lbs, 34D, 35”x29”x39”. My hips are larger and done dresses are too tight and require me to go up in size and take in the bust. This dress skimmed and hung nicely. I prefer a dress with a little room that drapes instead of being skin tight. It’s more flattering on me at age 41, after 2 kids. The shirt tapers below the hips down to the knees but it wasn’t overly pronounced and I could still walk easily. I would have needed to have the dress hemmed, but that’s expected with all long dresses. A strapless bra works very well with this dress. I really needed a cocktail dress and thought this might be too formal for the event so I didn’t pick this dress, but I’m still trying to think of a reason to buy it. If you need a simple, classic, full length black dress with nice fabric, this one is impressive. It reminded me of other dresses I’ve tried on that were $300+.

I feel that this dress was true to the picture
I am an 8 or a 10 depending and I ordered a large. A medium would have been better. However, with that said it was perfect for the event I attended because it was so easy to wear. the fabric is very substantial and nice. I will have it altered and I will wear it again. great dress for the price point

Gorgeous, but way too long
I was surprised at how flattering the fit of this was. I am not wild about my tummy, and I felt this dress hid it well. The dress felt like it was good quality, in terms of fabric. Sadly, the X-small was way too long (like, probably by about 4-5 inches). No time for alterations, so this had to go back.

This dress is beautiful!
This dress is so flattering and slimming even though it is form fitting in some areas. I did not want a dress that was too low cut in either the front or back and this was the perfect fit. The material is high quality. I have a wedding to attend and ordered two different dresses planning on sending one back. I am actually wearing the other dress I ordered but I am keeping this one for a future event. The only down side is unless your 5’8-6” you will need to get it hemmed. I am wearing 3 inch heels and I am 5’5 1/2 and definitely had to get in hemmed still.
