defective disappointment
I have owned a set of these glasses for several years. I haven been wanting to add an another set, so I ordered.
The first set must have been returned from the other reviewer based on how one glass was defective. Defective was also written on the paper wrapping.
I reordered and received the new set today. Unbelievably, one of the glasses was fine but the second one, again defective and sharp. In a different way but it’s like the cut glass points weren’t buffed and softened.
Is this a Waterford factory issue?

Expect better from Waterford
I actually LOVE these Waterford glasses. I have a collection of 10 and ordered 2 more for the holidays. I also gift them to friends and family celebrating special occasions. The Two Star rating is based on a complete lack of quality control, by both Waterford and Nordstrom. They did arrive packaged as usual in a signature Waterford box with monogrammed tissue. But one of the glasses had significant and very noticeable defects. In fact the cut in the lower base of the glass was so defected that it was actually sharp to the touch. At $120 per glass, I expect much better.
