Works for apple shapes
I ordered four Gallery coats to replace my old coat. Only this coat of the 4 had a little more give on top which works for my apple shaped torso. Because it fits slightly larger on top from the others of the same brand you may want to size down if you're pear shaped. The fabric felt the same as the other coats, not too stiff as I feared since it was labeled a raincoat. Both the hood and the liner are removable. I'm so glad to have found this.

Terrible fit
Ordered 2 different Gallery coats in the same size. This was was easily cut smaller by 2 sizes. When I laid one coat over the other, this one was 16 inches smaller through the hip. Either it was mis-tagged or the company has terrible quality control.

Cute raincoat but runs small
I am updating my clothes because I've lost weight. Everything I own is a 3X and too large. I ordered this raincoat in a 2X and I didn't even try zipping it because it would have been too tight. I'm disappointed, especially after reading reviews saying the coat ran large and fit apple-shaped gals. Also, I wish Nordstrom would bring back the Encore section in their stores. It's very inconvenient not to be able to try on clothes in-person.
