Not a True Jean
The word jean should be nowhere in the marketing of this piece. I was looking to purchase a light weight jean as a spring/summer staple for the mild summers in the San Francisco Bay. This item is not that. The marketing is very misleading. It is more of a lounge wear piece and not a jean in the true sense of the word jean. The material is very thin and hangs similar to a pajama bottom. The fly is false and the garment has very little structure. I can not see how this piece could be elevated into a chic causal look.

Run small!
I normally wear between a 12 and 14, so I ordered the L and also the XL just in case. The L was way too snug, and even the XL was a little too snug, did not hang loosely like the picture. And they were too short, although that’s not unusual, as I’m 6’ tall. Bummed, cuz they’re really cute.

Unexpectedly light weight
The description online says these are 100% cotton. The label in garment states 100% lyocell - cotton's imitator. That said, the jeans fit perfectly and are so light weight they just miss being transparent. They will be perfect for lounging around on warm days.

Rhey run bigger than expected
These are lightweight, flowy and breezy. I’m a true medium and 5’7” but these are long on me and I feel like a small would have been fine but I was excited to get them and am keeping the mediums. Great for lounging around the house or travel but unlikely to wear out to dinner.

These are super amazing and effortless in every way! I love the Jean “look” but the material is super soft and light weight. And the draw string waist is a bonus. The frayed ends are cute too. I plan to wear these with cute tank tops or t-shirts in the spring/summer months. Easy to pack too for a trip! Can be dressed up or down! These pants will not disappoint!!
