Chevron Denim Maxi Skirt

Wow this skirt is cool!! And so comfortable with its soft and stretchy denim. I would have preferred the darker color if it was available, because the pictures make it look like the difference between the darkest and lightest panels in the skirt are a greater difference than in the Star Blue. I'm happy to say the Star Blue shows up with good contrast in reality. I ordered a 26 which fits a bit looser in this skirt than in the other midi or long skirts I also ordered from WLD. I believe this skirt has more stretch. I'm 5'2" and usually wear size 2 or 26 in jeans. If there was size 25 available, I would have liked to try it. With all the panels the skirt is a bit heavy, so I hope it doesn't stretch too much. That said, the fit is slimming, and the long sides just touch the ground on me, but I will only wear this with heels. I don't feel it overwhelms my petite self at all! BTW the lace-up is real and has one metal tab button under the lacing at the top. Buy it!!!

I love this skirt's groovy 70's style and had high hopes that it would be on heavy rotation all summer. Sadly the lace-up is poorly designed. It is very bulky and unless you have a totally flat tummy, this is not good. It gaps weirdly when you sit and I'm afraid I would need to adjust it every time I sit/stand. Also, the skirt has large points on both sides which poke out like wings. I am sad to return it.

When I saw this - knew had to have. I search for unusual & people stop me in the street to say "Those jeans are EVERYTHING!". This skirt will be no exception. Purchased 31, as this is my new size since Covid. Tried on quick with Todd R. Concert T to show Nord. Too bad the wear areas are not nearly as noticeable on heinie & front. And OMG, Not even back pockets? Maybe I'll get some sewn on. This 🚫 pocket thing does not work! Put a hook on mid-inside to help keep tied, Possibly get strong Faux Suede (even blue coloured shoelaces) for something with more Grip. If you do not have a belly, go down a size, as this will stretch a bit. Holds u in now, but won't 4 long. Once it stretches, you can wear it lower on hips. As u can see a Petite someone under 5ft .07" it almost touches ground with 3 inch heels. May need to bring in for Nord Tailors - the best.

What a great up-cycle item! Fabric similar to your favorite skinny-jeans material (anyone remember those?!), having nice stretch. I'm 5'4" and the #34 fits about the same as our model here. I saw a review mentioning the 'wings' on the side of the skirt; I see where she got that idea, as the bottom sides of the skirt do kind of stand out a bit. You can kind of see that on the model. Not a big deal-breaker for me; it can be taken in if it bothers you. Wishing it had pockets; so funny, I keep finding myself reaching for the non-existent pockets...as you would on your favorite pair of jeans. CONS: Terrible chemical from *Wash Lab; found I had to launder 3X to get that smell out; P.U. TIP: If after laundering the fringe becomes all tangled and matted, I used a simple 'scrub' brush (like the ones with the small plastic handle that kind of looks like an iron) and simply brushed the fringe with a downward stroke once the skirt was perfectly dry...looks like new and only took a minute! Also to note, I have a rounded belly and had no issues with the laced front; the fabric flap behind the laces seem to take care of any potential peek-a-boo issues. Oh, by the way, I've seen lesser skirts recently retailing at $950 and up...that makes this skirt even sweeter yet!
