Walla Yukoner Lug Sole Shoe (Men)

The Yukoner has amazing leather quality and really solid aesthetics — it definitely looks and feels premium on the outside. Unfortunately, the insole was a big letdown for me. It felt stiff, almost like hard plastic, and wasn’t comfortable for all-day wear. I also tried swapping in a different insole, but the toe box is very narrow, so my toes kept rubbing against the leather. On top of that, after walking in them outside and then inside the mall, the sole started making a loud squeaky noise with every step. It was noticeably loud and honestly pretty embarrassing. Because of all this, I ended up returning them. I’m planning to try again in a half size up from my usual to see if the fit improves, because the style really is great — the comfort and noise just need improvement.
