Awareness Underwire Bra

I almost never write product reviews, but I feel strongly about not wanting other women to waste their money on Wacoal bras. For years I wore Natori and Fayreform bras that I got at Nordstrom. When Nordstrom stopped carrying Fayreform, I was excited to see the endless positive reviews for Wacoal so I ordered 3 different styles and would have been better off throwing the money away. The bras I purchased all got great reviews for DD+ sizes. I am a 32 DDD or 32F so I was thrilled. The only thing I can figure is that the other reviewers haven't experienced a really good bra so these seem good to them. When they arrived I was in shock over the paper thin material of all 3 styles. There is no way material that thin can truly support and hold DD+. The wire was just as thin and cheap. I have owned them for 2 months, hand washed and the wire on my Awareness is totally bending and morphing. The bra does a decent job holding my breasts up but because of the flimsy wire and fabric my breasts push the the wire out in the middle so you can see wire poking out of the middle of my shirt. By the end of the day my shoulders are sore because I have to pull the straps so tight to hold everything up due to the poor quality. Awesome. The Retro Chic has decent separation but the lace is so itchy and the mesh band is so painful by the end of the day I need a hot shower and lotion to sooth my skin. The Basic Beauty is at least comfortable but it is only a tad more supportive than simply going braless. To my chesty friends out there who have been wearing Wacoal, I assure you there are better bras out there. Thankfully I found my old bra on a different website and Nordstrom still sells Natori. I am awaiting delivery of a Fantasie style that I am hopeful for.
